Popplet
Popplet is a fun and easy collaborative tool that can be used for brainstorming, organizing thoughts, outlining, mapping, and presenting. The concept is one of a blank wall on which the user creates "popples." Popples are similar to flowchart of mapping shapes, but they can be used for text, pictures, links, and videos. Features
Explore the Tool
When you have completed several popples, click the gear near the top of the Popplet screen. From this menu, you can choose View, Hide Name Tags. Name tags are necessary if the Popplet is a collaborative project. From that same tool area, you can select a different color for your Popplet's background. You can also zoom in or out as your Popplet grows. Popplet also offers a presentation mode that allows you to record movement on the screen. Experiment with this feature, as it is a good PowerPoint alternative. You can share the Popplet with the URL or click the Share button (upper right) for other options such as embedding, Facebook, or Twitter. |

Padlet
Padlet is a virtual wall on which multiple students can post virtual sticky notes (including media). Padlet is a less flashy and FREE version of Ed Canvas (now Blendspace). It's a great way to flip a classroom or stimulate conversations online. Simply fill the wall with your learning content, and provide the URL to students. Features
